Buy a Leaf - Support the Hall restoration

A very happy new year to one and all! We are using the new year to kick off a "Buy a Leaf" fundraiser for the restoration works in Eyrecourt Hall. So far we have raised approx one quarter of the €30k we need, and we want to extend a huge thanks to those that have supported the fundraisers so far.

For this one, taking the metaphor of a solid and long-lived oak tree, the hall is one of the main "trees" within the community and we, the people, are the "leaves" which it supports and allows to flourish. We are offering the opportunity for people to buy a brass leaf plaque as part of a permanent tree mural which will be very visible in the building for decades to come.

You can have your Family Name and Townland displayed permanently on a brass name plate in the hall on completion of the refurb works. You could also buy a leaf plaque in loving memory of a deceased loved one, or you might be someone that has long left Eyrecourt and want to have your name (or your family name) permanently and physically etched into the heart of the Community here.
